ACM International

the Alliance of Christian Missions

Who is ACM International?

ACM International (previously the African Christian Mission) is a non-profit organization, whose members are committed to the establishment of Christ’s Kingdom in the farthest corners of the world.  The letters “ACM” now stand for the Alliance of Christian Missions.  We are an alliance of organizations (three organizations officially merged in the mid 1990’s).  We are also an alliance of individuals, uniquely called by God to specific missions, but who are committed to working together toward the same basic goals, using the same general strategy and upholding the same values.  ACM International remains our official name.

What does ACM International do?

ACM International is, and has always been, a church planting organization.  We “establish” churches and assist them in becoming deeply influential in the communities which surround them.  Our passion is fulfilled when these new churches are addressing the real needs (physical, spiritual, emotional and social), of the people among whom they are planted.  We believe church planting is all about people!  Our general strategy is to:

Accept Christ’s Call – It all begins as God calls people, whom He chooses, and we respond to this call

Cultivate Relationships – Developing meaningful relationships with people is our most important activity

Make Disciples – Churches, made up of disciples of Jesus Christ, will impact the world around them
